Ukrainian Egg Decorating Class
Location: Ukrainian Cultural Centre
Tuesday, April 9 at 10am (bus leaves at 9:30am)
If decorating eggs is something you haven’t done since you were a kid, you’ll find there’s more to it than splashing on paint with a brush. For one thing, you never use a brush. You’re using something that is very unique — the instrument is called a kistka. Learn about Ukrainian culture, tour the Ukrainian Cultural Centre and discuss the history of egg decorating. A festive event, just in time for Easter. The New Horizons grant will cover the cost of bus fare to the event.
Cost: $8.00/person for the class. Bus will leave the Centre at 9:30am. Advanced registration required. Deadline to register: April 1.
